YOUTH ATHLETES AGES 9-11.

FSP FOUNDATION: 3 months (summer 2026)

FSP Foundation is the entry point into structured athletic development. At this stage, the primary objective is not performance optimization, but movement competency and neuromuscular development.

assessment first – ALWAYS

Every FSP athlete begins with a full five-phase athletic assessment. No exceptions. No guesswork before we have your data.

MOVEMENT FUNDAMENTALS

THE BEGINNING

Athletes are introduced to:

THE FSP SYSTEM

HOW IT WORKS:

Every athlete enters through the same door. What happens after is determined entirely by their own data, not a calendar.

01

Fundamental movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull, brace)

02

Coordination and rhythm development

03

Basic strength training using bodyweight and light external resistance

04

Introductory landing, deceleration, and joint control mechanics

FROM PATTERNS TO PERFORMANCE

THE SYSTEM

The FSP Foundation program is designed in alignment with Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) principles.

THIS SYSTEM EMPHASIZES:

HIGH MOVEMENT VARIABILITY

LOW EXTERNAL LOAD, HIGH TECHNICAL FOCUS

DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR LEARNING AND PROPRIOCEPTION

No advanced loading or specialization is introduced at this stage. The goal is to establish a robust mechanical and neurological base that allows for safe progression into more structured strength and performance training.

START WITH THE ASSESSMENT

Every FSP athlete – regardless of age, sport, or experience – begins with the same five-phase assessment. The only way to build a program designed for your child.
