THE STARTING POINT
FOR EVERY ATHLETE.
FSP ATHLETIC ASSESSMENT • BATON ROUGE, LA
A five-phase, data-driven evaluation of how your body produces force, moves, and performs under sport-specific demands. The foundation of everything that follows.
Important – read before booking
This is not a pass or fail test. There is no score to beat. The assessment exists to give us an accurate, individualized picture of your biomechanics and physical output so we can build a program designed specifically for you.

FIVE PHASES. ONE COMPLETE PICTURE.
Assessment protocol
Phases I-IV are conducted in-house at FSP. Phase V is sport-specific, conducted on the field or track.
I
IN-
HOUSE
MOBILITY & RANGE OF MOTION ASSESSMENT
Joint-by-joint evaluation of active and passive range of motion. We identify mobility restrictions, movement asymmetries, and tissue quality issues affecting performance and injury risk.
II
IN-
HOUSE
STRENGTH RATIOS & ISOMETRIC STRENGTH TESTING
Maximal isometric force production tested bilaterally across key muscle groups. We quantify strength asymmetries, dominant-to-non-dominant limb ratios, and sport-relevant force imbalances.
III
IN-
HOUSE
POWER PROFILING & MOVEMENT MECHANICS
Force plate testing to quantify explosive power output, ground reaction forces, and reactive strength. Jump mechanics evaluated for bilateral asymmetry, landing quality, and power production efficiency.
IV
IN-
HOUSE
SPRINT & RUNNING MECHANIC ANALYSIS
High-speed video analysis of running and sprint mechanics. We evaluate stride pattern, ground contact mechanics, posture, arm drive, and acceleration technique.
V
FIELD
SPORT-SPECIFIC FIELD TESTING & KPIS
Sport-specific performance benchmarks on the field, track, or court. Tests are selected based on the athlete's sport and position, measuring physical qualities directly predictive of competitive performance.
TECHNOLOGY WE UTILIZE
OUR PARTNERS

Used as our central operating system to manage scheduling, billing, and the full athlete lifecycle from onboarding through daily training.

Used to deliver individualized programs and track execution, ensuring every session is structured, recorded, and progressing.

Used to provide real-time feedback on speed, power, and intent so athletes train within the correct performance targets.

Used to assess force production, asymmetries, and movement limitations that directly shape each athlete’s program.

Used to develop acceleration and max velocity through controlled resistance and assistance, improving force application during sprinting.

Used to monitor sleep, recovery, and physiological strain to support daily readiness and long-term workload decisions.
THE TOOLS BEHIND THE DATA
Assessment technology
FORCEFRAME
VALD • PHASE II
ISOMETRIC STRENGTH TRAINING
Gold-standard isometric force measurement across all major muscle groups. Bilateral comparison built into every test.
• Peak force (N) per limb
• Rate of force development
• Limb symmetry index
• Normative percentile ranking
FORCEDECKS
VALD • PHASE III
DUAL FORCE PLATE SYSTEM
Dual force plates measuring ground reaction forces during jump and landing tasks.
• Jump height (cm/in)
• Peak power output (W/kg)
• Reactive strength index
• Landing force asymmmetry
OUTPUT SPORTS
PHASE III & IV
ATHLETE MONITORING & VELOCITY
Wearable sensor system tracking velocity, jump metrics, and longitudinal athletic output.
• Bar velocity (m/s)
• CMJ jump heigh trend
• 1RM via velocity profiling
